New Delhi :-History was made on Friday as a record which seems unbreakable for years was made when cinematic extravaganza in form of â€˜Baahubaliâ€™ hit silver screens. The movie which was expected to do well on opening day made trade analysts holding their jaws after what they witnessed the response for the movie.
Not only in south, in Norrth India too, the movie saw jam-packed theatres and overwhelming excitement in the crowd.
The fans who gave a watch to the movie were literally enthralled by the performances. â€œIt is a must watch movie, though it bored me in the starting and dubbed songs were quite hard to tolerate but after one hour the movie got better better till the endâ€ said a viewer. â€œThe movie is overall interesting and what amused me was never before graphics and realistic animation which are quite unseen in Bollywood movies.â€ she added.
The movie produced with a budget of 250 crores was released in four languages Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam â€“ in over 4000 screens. In the US alone it was relased in over 135 big screens where it made Rs. 15 crores-another record.
A movie of records, â€˜Baahubaliâ€™ first registered in Guiness World record book for the largest poster of 50,000 sq ft.

Also, The movie passed the record set by 2014 blockbuster Happy New Year, starred by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, which had pocketed Rs 44.97 Cr in its opening day. The highest opening day record for a South Indian film till date was that of Rajinikanthâ€™s â€œLingaaâ€ with 39 Crore.
